1st Online Conference of the International Association for Energy Economics

PARIS REINFORCE researchers participated in the 1st Online Conference of the International Association for Energy Economics which took place on June 7th-9th, 2021 online.

The main theme of the Conference was “Energy, COVID, and Climate Change” and offered the opportunity to the ideal climate and energy policy regime that should simultaneously respond to potentially conflicting objectives, especially in the era of COVID: ensuring energy security, promoting universal access to affordable energy services, and fostering greener and more sustainable energy systems while taking into account geopolitical and economic dimensions. Anastasios Karamaneas and Aikaterini Forouli from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) participated in the conference and presented the research "Multi-objective evaluation of renewable technology subsidy portfolios under COVID-19 recovery packages", jointly carried out by consortium members NTUA, BC3, and Imperial:
